Herefordshire Council have released an interesting update explaining where they are in the broadband procurement process (near the end) and what is hoped to be achieved by this.
There are also some interesting links and information on related points - for example £150M central government funding around the mobile telephone (and therefore broadband) network for rural areas, which will obviously further benefit anyone with a business or teenage children.
