Due to a heavy snow blocking the solar power and the draining extreme cold, the batteries on Mountain building gave up finally on Wednesday. With a tremndous effort, battling the elements, these were replaced on Friday.
Hopefully with milder conditions and longer daylight hours this set should last longer.
Now for the exciting bit - the Directors of LCB have put into motion the connection of Mountain Buildings to mains power - the cheque to pay for the connection has been written! This should solve (barring a power cut) the most common cause of broadband problems - ie loss of battery power at Mountain Buildings.
As yet we have no firm timetable, but I hope to have more details very soon.
